Paper Glitter Brooches

Hi everybody! Today I show you a quick and easy craft from Beci Orpin’s latest book “Make & Do”. Beci is my favourite designer. She’s absolutely the best when it comes to colours and shapes. I have all her books and her work is a constant inspiration to me. She really encourages people to be creative and be inspired by everything in everyday life.

This little project is the cutest thing: Paper brooches! I decided for neon and glitter as it’s my favourite at the moment. I really love how it came out, especially the texture of the gold glitter paper. I guess it will turn out beautiful with a black outfit.

The whole book is full of great projects and I strictly recommand it to you. It’s already one of my favs on my craft-bookshelf. Have fun and happy moments!

Hello Zakka with Hello Sandwich

Hi everybody! This week I bought just the cutest craft book I’ve ever read, so I want to share it with you. It’s the german edition of “Hello Zakka” by Japan based designer Ebony Bizys aka Hello Sandwich. If you like the cuteness of japanese culture, you’ll find lots and lots and lots of craft projects in that book. I immediate fell for it. Hello Sandwich shows us how to brighten up our days and surrounds us with cute and small things that we all adore so much. Some of the projects will take an afternoon, some are finished in no time – but they’re all really easy.

The first thing I tried was the pompon bracelet from page 46. I had so much fun yesterday evening, making these pompons as I did last time when I was a little girl. The finished bracelet is just the cutest thing! I’ll definitely will craft my way through that book the next weeks. If you’ll do the same: Have fun! Yay!

Crochet Bracelet

The truth is: A girl can’t have too many accessories. Some people might say that about bags, shoes, dresses. But actually, accessories are the real deal. They make the statement for your outfit, whatever you’re wearing. So when it comes to craftiness, I always look for the accessories projects to make my wardrobe special.

I found the perfect crochet jewellery on issue 30 of Mollie Makes. Bracelets! I gave it a try with an old bracelet, some yarn leftovers and glitter beads and it turned out so beautiful. I strictly recommand this project to you: It’s so much fun and a really quick craft. In less than 30 minutes you have just the cutest bracelet of the world! On top of all, it inspires to try things with old jewellery that are long forgotten in your jewellery case. I’m definetely hooked and will give the old and forgotten a new and bright look. Accessories galore!
