2015/01/img_0185.jpg
Hi everybody! I just made some more of the cute pompon brooches and I’d like to share it with you. Crafting along these pompons while listening to the beatiful album “Days to come” by Bonobo is a real Sunday joy. I hope you have a relaxed and creative day too. Have fun and happy moments!

Pompon Brooche

Hi everybody! Yesterday evening I made this pompon brooche with some leftover yarn in bright neon colours. Really, I like pompons so much. They remind me of my childhood, they feel fluffy and in my favourite colours they’re a total eye candy.

If you’d like to make one for yourself, here’s how:
– Make 3 small pompons and cut them in shape for a neat look.
– Tie the pompons together so that you have a small bouquet.
– Attach a brooche pin on the back.

It’s the easiest thing, isn’t it? I intend to wear it with a black outfit when I start my new job next week. Have fun and happy moments!

Paper Glitter Brooches

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/d05/8729327/files/2014/12/img_0092.jpg
Hi everybody! Today I show you a quick and easy craft from Beci Orpin’s latest book “Make & Do”. Beci is my favourite designer. She’s absolutely the best when it comes to colours and shapes. I have all her books and her work is a constant inspiration to me. She really encourages people to be creative and be inspired by everything in everyday life.

This little project is the cutest thing: Paper brooches! I decided for neon and glitter as it’s my favourite at the moment. I really love how it came out, especially the texture of the gold glitter paper. I guess it will turn out beautiful with a black outfit.

The whole book is full of great projects and I strictly recommand it to you. It’s already one of my favs on my craft-bookshelf. Have fun and happy moments!

Gemstone Beanie

20140213-150807.jpg

Hi everybody! Still at home. Still the flu. And rain outside. Phew. But here’s what I made this morning: A gemstone beanie! I purchased the simple black beanie some time ago, wondering what kind of vamp-up it should get. Flipping through Pinterest – as often – gives you the best inspirations. Gems are perfect for a winter accessoire make-up.

You’ll need:
a simple beanie in any colour you like
gems in many colours and sizes
gemstone glue

And now: Just glue the gems onto the beanie. I didn’t arrange them first – I just glued them on the way as I was inspired by the colours. When you’ve finished, let the glue dry for about 6 hours. And then go outside and sparkle through the cold or mist or rain. Yay! Have fun and happy moments!

Hello Zakka with Hello Sandwich

20140212-155748.jpg
Hi everybody! This week I bought just the cutest craft book I’ve ever read, so I want to share it with you. It’s the german edition of “Hello Zakka” by Japan based designer Ebony Bizys aka Hello Sandwich. If you like the cuteness of japanese culture, you’ll find lots and lots and lots of craft projects in that book. I immediate fell for it. Hello Sandwich shows us how to brighten up our days and surrounds us with cute and small things that we all adore so much. Some of the projects will take an afternoon, some are finished in no time – but they’re all really easy.

The first thing I tried was the pompon bracelet from page 46. I had so much fun yesterday evening, making these pompons as I did last time when I was a little girl. The finished bracelet is just the cutest thing! I’ll definitely will craft my way through that book the next weeks. If you’ll do the same: Have fun! Yay!
